Now, I've never been a huge fan of Ghost Rider...I thought that he looked cool, but the story never seemed all that great to me. With what I've seen of the new Ghost Rider movie (which I don't think that I'll go and see) it seems to hold true to what I've always thought of him...that being said I decided to do a sketch and I'm pretty happy with what I came up with. I'll ink and color him at some point so check back!

Spidey sketch

My girlfriend babysits for a couple of kids and it's Sammy's (the youngest) Birthday today. My girlfriend asked me just to do a quick little sketch of Spidey for a card. I started working on it this morning and was pretty happy with it. I'll get him inked and try and drop a background in there too but I just really wanted to get 'ol webhead online!!

White Queen

Here's a little sketch of the White Queen I just knocked out...

Kong

Well, the movie was ok...actually the fight with the T-Rex. But Kong sure looked good! I did these in scratch board and they turned out pretty well...

I have to say that I LOVE drawingboard.org! Not only can you see some great artwork, but you can get some great critizism. The "character jams" are a great way to get the pencil going if you're in a rut.

Spidey Pages

Here's a page from a old script that I got from my friend and Prof. Tom Lyle. Page 3 to follow shortly...

Where to begin...

So I guess I'll kick this thing off with a piece that is recent and that I'm pretty proud of... Black Cat...
